Our online enrollment system can be used to collect your applicant information and our network can be used to capture their fingerprints. Currently, we support direct Live Scan transmission to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the California Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE). Also, we can work to customize a solution to transmit fingerprint records and data to other state or federal agencies.

    Monthly invoicing

    Once the fingerprinting process is complete, we are able to send a single consolidated invoice for all of the applicants that have been fingerprinted; you can choose to receive daily, weekly or monthly transaction reports. Your applicants will not be asked to pay any fees onsite and will only have to present a QR code or token to complete their fingerprint capture.     • How do I open a Live Scan account with Certifix?

      To open a Certifix Live Scan account, fill out the application form on our website’s Open a Live Scan Account page. Our team will contact you with further instructions after reviewing your application.

    • What is a “Billing Number”?

      A billing number is a 6-digit code assigned by the California Department of Justice (DOJ) to agencies that choose to be billed directly for government processing fees related to Live Scan submissions.

      How It Works:

      • Some requesting agencies provide the billing number on the Request for Live Scan Service form to cover the DOJ processing fees on behalf of the applicant.
      • If a billing number is not present on the form and you were not provided with a Certifix Account Flyer by your requesting agency, you will be responsible for paying all fees associated with the Live Scan process.
